THE Olofa of Offa in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara state, Oba Mufutau Oloyede Gbadamosi Esuwoye II, has attributed his success at the Supreme Court last Friday to the God.
Addressing people of Offa at his palace on Sunday when he entered the ancient town of Offa, the traditional ruler said he was overwhelmed with rousing welcome and support he received from general public, Kwara state government and the Offa people.
The traditional ruler, who called for peace and tranquility among the people of Offa, said, “let us unite and shun any forms of violence. Let’s believe it has been destined by God.

“I want to implore every one of us not to deny anybody access to the palace. The palace is for all sons and daughters of Offa town”.
Oba Mufutau also said that support and contributions of every one was necessary for the progress and development of the Offa town and its people, just as he attributed his success to the support of the Kwara state Government and all the son and daughters of the town

Also speaking, the national president of Offa Descendants Union, Alhaji Najim Yasin, thanked every one for the support in the last six years since the emergence of Olofa, especially when the case at the law court began.
Alhaji Yasin, who said that Olofa had to cut short his pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia on lesser hajj, said that Offa people had always stayed around the traditional ruler and offered prayer for his success in the supreme court.
Yasin, who is also the national chairman of the NURTW promised that the Olofa would attract more development for the town, and solicited for more support for the traditional ruler.
