Offa indigenes represent and involve a unique coalition of young people through their involvement as individuals or through their youth organizations.
We bring young people together to agree on issues of common concern and encourage them to bring about change through taking collective action.
The Offa indigenes acts as an advisory forum to the Ministry responsible for youth affairs and plays the following key functions; It liaises with youth organizations on youth development issues and advises them on issues pertaining to youths so that they can attend to their needs and concerns.
The role of the Offaindigenes as a networking body is confined to the execution of the following key responsibilities:
Coordination of youth activities by affording youth organizations an opportunity to empower their individual members.
Unification of Offa youth by fostering a sense of unity, tolerance and self respect among them.
Preservation of national identity and cultivate among the youth an in dept awareness of social, economic, political, educational and cultural prospects.
Initiation of youth development projects and activities and encourage youth active participation in the process of nation building
Mobilization of funds for the course of youth development; and; Creation of a bridge between the Nigerian youth bodies and their counter parts both at national and international levels.
